Celebrate Chinese New Year with authentic Chinese Pastries. CHI-PAC is partnering with China City Bakery & Restaurant to bring these traditional treats to our Chinese Immersion families, just in time to celebrate Spring Festival. Place your order by Friday, January 28, 2022. Pastries will be ready for pickup at the FH Fine Arts Center parking lot [600 Forest Hill Ave SE] on Wednesday, February 9 between 3:00-6:00pm.

Six traditional steamed buns with bbq pork stuffing. These steamed pastries are very filling & large, 4″ inches in diameter.(Ingredients: Flour, Sugar, Egg, Dried Milk, Oil, BBQ Pork)Cost: $9.00 ($8.00 + $1.00 PayPal processing fee) They can be refrigerated or frozen. Simply microwave the buns for 1-2 minutes. Alternatively, re-steam them for 5 minutes. If reheating frozen buns, there’s no need to thaw beforehand.

Package B – Sweets Box A box of 3 sweet baked pastries: 1 bun with coconut custard filling, 1 bun with traditional red bean filling, and 1 extra large almond cookie. These baked buns are 3.5″-4″ inches in width and the cookie is extra large, 5″ in diameter. (Ingredients: Flour, Sugar, Egg, Dried Milk, Oil, Coconut/Sweet Red Bean Paste/Almonds) Cost: $7.00 ($6.00 + $1.00 PayPal processing fee)

Every Friday – Sunday, China City Bakery offers a variety of authentic Chinese pastries, made fresh in-house. Types of pastries offered include traditional steamed buns with bbq pork stuffing; or meat and vegetable stuffing. Baked buns include the following fillings: taro, sweet red bean paste, bbq pork, egg custard, coconut cream, coconut custard, shredded pork (rousong), and hot dog. Egg tarts are specialty items and must be pre-ordered. Almond cookies are sold individually in extra large size or tea cookie size in bulk.
