Chinese Immersion Senior Celebration

It doesn’t seem so long ago as the class of 2024 went through the Meadow Brook doors.  Today, we had the opportunity to celebrate each one of them for their accomplishment as they graduate from the Chinese Immersion Program.  Each of the students had the opportunity to discuss their plans after graduation, talk about their favorite Chinese phrases and, more importantly, what event in their high school career while on the immersion program made a long-lasting impact.  It was great to hear that a lot of graduates talked about their trip to Chicago as a class.

We had teachers from Kindergarten to High School send their well wishes virtually.  Principal Tim Shaw was the speaker of the night as he talked about his experiences with all the students and how he is so proud of all their accomplishments.  Thank you, Mr. Shaw for coming back to Forest Hills to send off our graduates with well-wishes. 

We all celebrated the night with great Chinese food and wished them all good fortune.  Congratulations to the class of 2024!
