Each September, CHI-PAC sponsors a program-wide celebration of China’s national Teacher’s Day. CHI-PAC observed the holiday on Sept. 3, delivering treats to all four Chinese Immersion schools. We’re so grateful for the wonderful Forest Hills Chinese Immersion team, and we appreciate all the ways they show up for our students every day.

In Chinese tradition, students often give their teacher a flower or a small gift to wish them a happy Teacher’s Day. We encourage students and families to brainstorm simple ways to honor their teachers, like giving a flower from their garden, bowing, drawing a picture, writing a note, or sharing a hug, high-five or fist-bump.
