CHI-PAC is pleased to announce the 6th annual Spirit of Chinese Scholarship for the Class of 2026. Download the application form.

CHI-PAC created the Spirit of Chinese Scholarship to be awarded annually to a student who demonstrates how learning Mandarin Chinese through the Forest Hills Public Schools Mandarin Chinese Immersion Program has enriched their life or how they anticipate the language benefiting them in the future.  

Applicants must be classified as a Forest Hills Northern senior by the application deadline, February 20, 2026. Students are asked to communicate in both Mandarin Chinese and English on their written application and during their speech presentation. 

Many thanks to the West Michigan Asian American Association for sponsoring this scholarship. The following awards will be granted: 1 first place award of $500, 2 second place awards of $150 each, and up to 4 third place awards of $50 each.
